Melissa’s combined experience as an executive, founder, hygienist, and influencer provides unique insight into what both dental professionals and patients want. Chrissy Ford

Chrissy Ford is a registered dental hygienist, practice manager, speaker, published author and founder of the Ford Dental Institute (formerly Advanced Hygiene Solutions). The development of her successful continuing education and coaching programs draws from 22 years experience in the dental field.

She is committed to empowering dental professionals to find passion in their careers and enjoys coaching dental teams on how to integrate strong periodontal programs into their practice. Dr. Michael Glogauer
DDS, PhD, DipPerio

Speaker

Michael Glogauer is an internationally-recognized periodontist and leader in the fields of oral immunity and periodontology. He is a Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto, Head of Dentistry for University Health Network, Chief of Dental Oncology. He has generated over 225 peer reviewed publications (more than 17,000 citations) in dental health and oral immunology.

Lisa Mayo
RDH, BSDH, MHA

Speaker

Lisa Mayo graduated with a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from Baylor College of Dentistry and a master's degree in healthcare administration from Ohio University. She is currently enrolled in a doctoral program for healthcare administration with Franklin University. She serves as the Academic Chair for Dental Hygiene, Dental Assisting, and Surgical Technology at Dallas College.

Lisa has taught hundreds of continuing education courses for dental and medical professionals since 2006 and has published peer-reviewed continuing education courses, articles, and white papers for the Canadian Dental Journal, Dental Economics, Dental Learning, Dimensions of Dental Hygiene, Access, Medicom, StudentRDH, Penn Well, and RDH. She has contributed to chapters to textbooks and just released her first full-length textbook published by Jones & Bartlett entitled “Power Instrumentation for the Dental Professional”.

Tina Clarke
RDH, MEd

Speaker

Tina Clarke is the leading voice in anesthesia dental education. From head & neck anatomy, health histories, and practical tips and tricks to getting anesthesia right every time, Tina employs adult learning principles, equipping her course attendees for success.

​

A nationally published author, podcaster, and founder of Teacher Tina RDH, she keeps her skills and knowledge current while continuing to serve the profession as a clinician, educator, trainer and speaker. In addition, Tina is an approved provider by the Oregon Board of Dentistry to provide education for the initial permit for local anesthesia. As well as an approved CE provider by the American Academy of Dental Hygiene.

Tina has been a clinical dental hygienist for over 20 years and an educator for nearly 15. She received her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene in 2001 and her master’s degree in education in 2013. Her teaching, training, and presenting style is upbeat and fun, making even the most difficult topics a delight to learn.

Cheryl Cable
BSc, DDS, MBA, Certifcate Prosthodonics and Maxillofacial Prosthodontics, FRCD

Speaker

Dr. Cable is a board certified specialist in Prosthodontics, fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, with advanced training in Maxillofacial Prosthodontics. Dr. Cable received a Bachelor of Science Degree, with honours from the University of Alberta in 1992. After graduating she continued on to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota for Prosthodontic and Maxillofacial Prosthodontic specialty training completed in 2001. 

 

Her training covered the following areas by world renowned specialists: Anatomy, Biostatistics, Dental Materials, Dental Laboratory Techniques, Orofacial Pain, Medical Oncology, Oral Diagnosis, Otorhinolaryngologic Surgery, and Radiation and Medical Oncology. This is in addition to conventional and advanced Removable, Fixed and Maxillofacial Prosthodontics. 

Dr. Liran Levin
DMD, FRCD (C), FIADT, FICD

Speaker

Prof. Liran Levin is a professor of periodontology at the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, University of Alberta, Canada. He is also a visiting professor at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Boston, MA.

Prof. Liran Levin received his DMD degree with distinction at Tel Aviv University and completed his Post Graduate Periodontology Program at the Department of Periodontology, Rambam Health Care Campus. He also received his Periodontology Specialist Certificate from the European Federation of Periodontology as well as a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada in Periodontology.  He has published more than 300 articles and book chapters in the international professional literature and is involved in research mainly in periodontology, dental implants and dental trauma. His papers received more than 12,000 scientific citations. He has been lecturing extensively both nationally and internationally in the fields of dental implants and periodontal diseases.

Karen Xekominos

Karen is the Co-Owner and Director of Heart Fit Clinic Edmonton.

She has completed Cardiology Module (2019) and the Fellowship in Advanced Metabolic Cardiovascular Certification (2020) from the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine/ Metabolic Medical Institute as well as a Certified Functional Nutrition Counselor, and Certified Nutrition and Life Coach.

She is passionate about helping people achieve their goals in health, nutrition, and life.  Karen is on a mission to empower and educate millions of people how to improve their health from inside out. She believes that health begins at the cellular level and we all have the ability to improve our current state into something magnificent.

Kerry Lepicek

Speaker

Kerry Lepicek, RDH is a registered dental hygienist with more than 20 years of clinical experience. She has worked in various practice settings and currently works part-time in general practice. As an international speaker, she has delivered lectures throughout Canada, the United States, and Bermuda. Kerry is knowledgeable on the topics of oral biofilm, halitosis, the oral-systemic connection, and the dental hygiene process of care. Her primary focus is on educating her patients as well as the dental profession on periodontal health and wellness. Kerry is a Thought Leader for Crest + Oral B, OraVital, Voco, and rdhu. In addition to being a section editor for The Hygiene Corner with Women In Dentistry, she serves on the Advisory Board of the American Academy of Oral Systemic Health and is a cast member of The RDH View. She will provide you with practical advice that will transform your practice and the health of your patients.
